Regular Schedules for Excursion Train

The A&M offers round trip scenic tours through the Ozark Boston Mountains. Burrow through the quarter mile Winslow Tunnel and travel high trestles over 125 feet from the ground.

Fort Smith to Winslow -
This 4 hour excursion includes travel over the Arkansas River. Lunch is available when making reservation.
January - March on Saturdays
Departs: 11:00 am from the 93 S 3rd St, Fort Smith Trolley Museum

Springdale to Van Buren -This day-long, 134 mile round trip includes a three-hour layover in historic downtown Van Buren where you can enjoy lunch in one of several local cafes, shop along Main St and enjoy the rich architecture of the historic downtown buildings. Returns to Sprindale between 4:30 - 5:30 pm. 
April - Mid November on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays
Departs: 8:00 am from 306 E. Emma, Springdale, AR

Van Buren to Winslow - This three-hour, 70 mile round trip excursion takes you through the ruggedly beautiful Boston Mountain range of the Ozarks, over three valley trestles and through the 1700-foot long Winslow tunnel for some of the  most breathtaking scenery you are likely to see in 'The Natural State'. 
 April - Mid November on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays
 Departs: 11:00 am from 813 Main St., Van Buren, AR

The excursion train operates on a working railroad. Schedules and times are adhered to as closely as possible. Delays may be encountered.

  • Gift Shop and museum located at the Springdale depot.
